If there's one thing all Malaysian students can relate to, it's reciting and writing the pantun during class. But more than that, the pantun serves as a communication tool for expressing one's feelings - all through an alternating rhyme pattern and a whole lot of creativity.
To preserve that tradition during the Hari Raya period, LBS invited Malaysians to Balas Pantun (reply to the poem) with Kumika, the cutest pantun extraordinaire, for a chance to win exciting prizes. We were tasked with coming up with the campaign's rollout plan and microsite as well as a digital marketing strategy to drive participation. The result? 144 original pantun submissions with over 17,000 votes in the span of 2 months.
